I had galette des rois yesterday =3 and it was yummy!
As is the tradition, the youngest (me) got under the table and called out people’s names so they would be given a slice of pie.
We do this because there is a “fève” in one of the slices, and the one who gets it becomes king/queen for the day =]

Looks good, I made four large ones yesterday and two tokens disappeared… hidden or swallowed?

I bet people thought they were so cute they kept them =p
We made these cakes in high school. They weren’t very authentic, I’m sure, but it was always fun to find the surprise! Do you know where I could find a good recipe for this cake?
How well do you read French?
The ones written in French are usually better…
My French is… weak but I can read it way better than I can speak it. Plus I can just look it up as I go, I think, if I did get stuck. Lay it on me! 🙂
